About
Who we are
We are junior doctors in France, and we studied at the Romanian medical faculties before coming back. We put our own applications together with whatever we could find: forums, agency pages that hadn’t been updated in years, and a translator picked more or less at random. It worked, but we lost weeks on things that take ten minutes to explain once someone has done them.
Med Romania is what we wish had existed then.
What we actually do
We help applicants build their admission file. In practice, that means:
- looking at your profile and telling you where you stand a chance — and where you don’t;
- listing the exact documents each university asks for, with the real deadlines rather than the published ones;
- getting the sworn translations and apostilles done in the right order — that is where applications fall apart, almost never on the strength of the candidate;
- reading your motivation letter, and preparing you for the interview where a university runs one;
- filing it, tracking it, chasing it.
The rest of the site — guides, calendars, checklists, the budget simulator — is free and will stay that way. Plenty of applicants use it to apply on their own. That is fine; that is also what it is for.
What we won’t compromise on
Authenticity. Every testimonial on this site carries a first name, a university and a year group. We don’t write fake reviews.
Transparency. Prices are published, with no late additions. We don’t guarantee admission — that decision belongs to the panel. What we commit to is a complete, compliant file, filed on time.
Straight talk. Studying medicine in Romania is demanding. The language year is hard, medical Romanian in year three is a genuine obstacle, and people repeat first year there as they do everywhere. Better to hear it now.
